Professional martial arts portraits. A streamlined Picture Day experience. And 10% of photography sales goes back to your school.

On-location photography built specifically for martial arts schools.

Why MAPD

This isn't your typical school picture day.

Martial artists shouldn't be photographed like ordinary school portraits. Their stance matters. Their technique matters. Their uniform, belt, and weapons matter. Their personality matters. MAPD was built specifically around photographing martial artists.

About MAPD

Built by a photographer. Built for martial arts schools.

Martial Arts Picture Day was created by professional photographer Johny Hoffman after seeing an opportunity to build a Picture Day experience specifically around martial arts.

With a background in commercial and editorial photography, Johny brings the same attention to lighting, posing and image quality to MAPD — while understanding that martial artists need to be photographed differently. The stance, technique, uniform, belt and personality of each student matter.

The goal is simple: create a Picture Day students are excited about, give families portraits worth keeping, and make the entire experience easy for the school.
